The head immobilizer is an emergency patient-handling device designed to aid in immobilizing a patient’s head and neck Immobilize a patients head in 4 easy steps-
1. Place the head on the base,
2. adjust the blocks
3. lock them into place
4. fasten the head and chin
Patient head is now immobilized;
Head immobilizer can be used with a Spine Board, Scoop stretcher or on a long (full-length) backboard.
